VOR Test Form directions:

  1. Open the PDF file (click on the next item on the glenarvon.com home page).

  2. The form is designed to be folded to make a booklet 4.25” X 5.5”, a conveniently small size for a crowded cockpit. (WHEN PRINTING, SELECT “NONE” IN THE “PAGE SCALING” OPTIONS BOX. Failing to turn off page scaling will shift the center of the page, placing the “fold” line off-center.)

  3. Page 1 of the PDF file (presenting the table only) can be printed on both sides of sheets of paper, creating as large a booklet as the user wants.

  4. Page 2 contains the “cover” page. If your printer has a “duplex” capability, print both pages 1 and 2 on a single sheet of paper. If you do not have a “duplex” capability, print page 1, then turn that sheet over and print page 2 on the other side.

  5. A single sheet of 8.5” X 11” paper printed with the cover page on one side and the table page on the other will have space for recording 41 VOR checks, potentially sufficient to last for years. A larger booklet made from 3 sheets of paper, for example, will have space for the recording of 153 VOR checks, and the paper may not survive a decade or more of handling.

You will need to verify all information presented in this VOR Test Form. It is offered for your consideration and possible use subject to each user correcting all errors.
